Combining pneumatic shockwave therapy and therapeutic ultrasound, this system provides two complementary forms of acoustic stimulation for equine rehabilitation. Shockwave therapy delivers stronger mechanical pulses into targeted tissues, helping stimulate local biological responses associated with circulation and tissue repair, while therapeutic ultrasound uses controlled acoustic energy to produce mechanical and thermal effects within muscles and soft tissues. By selecting the appropriate modality according to the target tissue and rehabilitation stage, equine professionals can address a wider range of tendon, ligament, muscle and musculoskeletal recovery needs with one system.
1. Tendon & Ligament Rehabilitation
Supports professional rehabilitation programs for common tendon and ligament injuries in sport, working and performance horses. Adjustable shockwave stimulation allows practitioners to target localized areas according to the injury site and rehabilitation plan.
2. Joint, Bone & Hoof Rehabilitation
Provides an adjustable therapy option for common joint, bone and hoof-related musculoskeletal conditions. Multiple shockwave heads help practitioners adapt treatment to different anatomical areas and target depths.
3. Muscle & Soft Tissue Therapy
Combines adjustable shockwave therapy with 1 MHz therapeutic ultrasound for muscle and soft-tissue applications. Practitioners can select the appropriate modality according to the treatment area, tissue condition and rehabilitation stage.
4. Sports Injury & Performance Recovery
Designed for equine athletes undergoing regular training, competition and rehabilitation. The system provides flexible therapy options for managing training-related muscle fatigue, soft-tissue stress and recovery after physical activity.
5. Supportive Rehabilitation & Recovery
Can also be incorporated into broader equine rehabilitation programs where additional physical therapy support is needed during recovery. Adjustable treatment parameters allow practitioners to adapt sessions to different stages of the rehabilitation process.
Product Features
Flexible Treatment Settings for Different Equine Needs
The system combines adjustable shockwave therapy and 1 MHz therapeutic ultrasound, giving equine professionals greater control over treatment intensity, frequency and duration. Shockwave settings can be adjusted from 0.5–12 Bar and 1–21 Hz, with 500–5000 preset impacts, while ultrasound intensity can be set from 0.1–3.0 W/cm² with treatment times from 1–60 minutes. Built-in treatment programs and recommended applicator heads help practitioners quickly select suitable settings for different anatomical areas, while manual adjustment allows further customization according to the target tissue and rehabilitation needs.
Multiple Shockwave Heads for Targeted Treatment
The shockwave handpiece comes with 9 interchangeable treatment heads from 6 mm to 38 mm, allowing practitioners to adjust the contact area according to the treatment site and target tissue. Smaller heads provide more concentrated stimulation for localized areas, while larger heads distribute acoustic energy across broader muscle and soft tissue regions—giving equine professionals greater flexibility when treating different anatomical areas.
Dual Air Pump Configuration with Filtration System
Equipped with dual air pumps, a filtration system and efficient cooling, the machine maintains a stable air supply while helping control internal heat during operation. This supports consistent pneumatic shockwave performance and reliable daily use in equine clinics, veterinary practices and rehabilitation facilities.
Why Add This System to Your Equine Practice?

Usage & Maintenance Guidelines
- Use Coupling Gel
Apply coupling gel or a suitable lubricant to the treatment area. Avoid allowing gel or liquid to enter the treatment head. - Avoid Prolonged Continuous Operation
Although the shockwave handpiece is designed to reduce vibration, prolonged continuous use may cause hand fatigue. Take appropriate breaks during extended treatments. - Replace Worn Applicator Heads
Treatment heads are consumable parts and should be inspected regularly and replaced when worn or damaged. - Shockwave Handpiece Maintenance
The internal projectile of the shockwave handpiece is a wear component. According to the supplied instructions, replacement is recommended after approximately 2 million impacts. - Clean the Filter Cups Regularly
Check the filter cups regularly and drain accumulated liquid when necessary. Place absorbent paper underneath before opening the drain valve to prevent spills.
