What Are the Benefits of Ultrasound Therapy?
Supporting Fascia Health and Muscle Function
Fascia is a common type of connective tissue found throughout the body. It helps maintain the shape of internal and external structures, supports circulation and the nervous and lymphatic systems, and provides structural support for muscles and other soft tissues. However, physical activity and prolonged poor posture can contribute to fascia and muscle tissue strain, potentially leading to adhesions and delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS).
Understanding Fascia and Muscle Tissue:Fascia surrounds and connects muscle fibers, helping maintain the body’s structural integrity. When fascia becomes restricted or adheres to surrounding tissues, it may contribute to muscle stiffness and discomfort.
How Does Ultrasound Support Fascia & Muscle Care?
Ultrasound therapy uses high-frequency sound waves to create gentle mechanical vibrations within soft tissues. These vibrations produce thermal and non-thermal effects that may help warm tissues, improve tissue flexibility, and support muscle relaxation.By delivering acoustic energy to the targeted area, ultrasound therapy may help reduce muscle stiffness, improve soft tissue mobility, and support overall muscle and fascia care.

FAQ
Apply a layer of approximately 2 mm of conductive gel to the probe. The gel helps maintain proper contact between the probe and the skin by preventing air gaps. Insufficient gel may cause the probe to overheat or become damaged and reduce treatment effectiveness.
Place the probe gently against the skin and move it slowly across the target area. Start with a low energy setting and gradually increase it to an appropriate level according to the recommended operating instructions.
Choose a relaxed and comfortable position during the session. Make sure the treatment area is easily accessible so the probe can be applied properly.
Maintain consistent contact between the probe and the skin without applying excessive pressure. Make sure there is sufficient conductive gel between the probe and the treatment area. For optimal operation, consult a qualified professional and follow the recommended treatment procedure.
The back is a relatively large treatment area, and the effects may feel less concentrated when the probe is moved across a wider area. For areas larger than approximately 10 cm, the manual recommends dividing the area into smaller sections and treating them separately.
The manual describes mild tingling, soreness, numbness, or swelling sensations as possible experiences during use, provided they remain within a tolerable range. If these sensations become uncomfortable or unbearable, reduce the output intensity or stop using the device.
