What is Focused Shockwave Therapy?
Focused Shockwave Therapy uses concentrated acoustic energy generated through a pulsed electromagnetic system, where a metal membrane produces pressure waves in water that are precisely focused at a specific depth beneath the skin. Unlike radial shockwaves, which disperse energy across a broader and more superficial area, focused shockwaves concentrate energy within a defined treatment zone, allowing practitioners to target deeper muscles, tendons, ligaments and joint-related tissues more precisely. As the shockwaves travel through tissue, physical effects such as mechanical stress and cavitation can stimulate biological responses associated with microcirculation, vascular activity, pain modulation and tissue repair, supporting pain management and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. With adjustable treatment depth and output settings, the therapy can be adapted to different body areas and treatment requirements. This system provides an adjustable penetration depth of 1–70 mm, offering greater flexibility for both superficial and deeper musculoskeletal applications.
Why Choose Our Focused Shockwave System?

Treatment can begin at a lower intensity and be gradually increased as needed, providing greater flexibility for different musculoskeletal and rehabilitation applications.
Treatment Guidance for 13 Body Areas
The intelligent treatment interface provides dedicated treatment-area selections for commonly treated body regions. After selecting an area, the system displays reference parameters directly on the touchscreen, helping practitioners set up treatments more efficiently.
Professional Focus Handle for Musculoskeletal Applications
The standard focus handle delivers concentrated shockwave energy to targeted treatment areas and supports adjustable depth, intensity, frequency and shot settings. It can be used across multiple musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation programs according to practitioner requirements.
Optional Dedicated ED Focus Handle
Expand the system beyond musculoskeletal applications with an optional dedicated ED focus handle designed specifically for men’s wellness programs. The separate applicator allows professional facilities to add an additional focused shockwave service using the same main platform.
Automatic and Manual Output for Flexible Treatment
Choose between automatic continuous output and manual single-trigger operation according to the treatment protocol. Automatic mode supports efficient continuous treatment, while manual mode gives practitioners greater control over individual shockwave delivery.
500–5,000 Adjustable Shots Per Session
Practitioners can set the preset number of shockwave outputs from 500 to 5,000 shots across 10 adjustable levels, allowing treatment protocols to be adapted according to the target area and session requirements.
10.1 Inch Smart Touchscreen for Faster Clinical Workflow
The large 10.1-inch touchscreen provides intuitive access to treatment areas, output parameters, patient information and system settings. Practitioners can quickly select treatment areas, adjust parameters and review previous treatment records from one interface.
Patient Treatment Record Management
Create and manage individual patient profiles directly through the system, including ID, age and sex. Practitioners can review previous treatment information such as treatment date, treatment area, output intensity, frequency, preset shot count, total output energy and treatment duration, making it easier to track previous sessions and reference treatment settings for future visits.
Advanced Water Circulation System for Stable Energy Transmission
The integrated water circulation system supports stable shockwave energy transmission through the treatment head. A removable water storage cup simplifies water replacement, while built-in bubble-removal and drainage functions help maintain the working handle during regular professional use.
Durable Core Components
Designed for the demands of busy clinics and rehabilitation facilities, the system uses durable core components to support reliable long-term operation. The working tool supports over 500,000 operations, while the capacitor is rated for over 2 million cycles, the trigger for over 1 million operations, and the water pump for over 6,000 hours, helping facilities handle frequent daily treatments with greater confidence.

Maintenance
Degassed water is the preferred choice, while distilled water can be used as an alternative. Tap water and mineral water are not recommended.
Water replacement frequency should be adjusted according to how frequently the machine is used:
Daily Use |
Recommended Water Replacement |
| High Use — More than 8–10 treatments/day | Empty the water cup after the day’s treatments and refill with fresh degassed water the next morning. |
| Moderate Use — 3–5 treatments/day | Replace the water every 2–3 days. |
| Low Use — 1–2 treatments/day or intermittent use | Replace the water once a week. |
Regardless of usage frequency, the water should be completely replaced at least once a week.
Replace the water immediately if you notice suspended particles, flocculent material, microorganisms/algae or discoloration.
If fine bubbles continue to adhere to the inner wall of the water sac or water storage cup, the water quality may no longer meet operating requirements and should be replaced as soon as possible.
Checking and replacing the water if there is a noticeable decline in perceived output energy or if the user experiences abnormal pain during operation, as these may indicate deteriorating water quality.
Clean the water storage cup regularly using a towel or brush to help prevent scale or deposits from forming at the bottom. Keeping the cup clean helps maintain water quality and prevents deposits from interfering with water-level monitoring.
Remove visible coupling gel or dirt with a soft cloth and clean water. Then disinfect the water sac using medical disinfectant wipes containing isopropyl alcohol or gauze with 70% alcohol.
After disinfection, wipe the surface again with sterile or distilled water to remove chemical residue, then allow it to air dry or gently dry it with a clean lint-free cloth.
